As competition between Nigerian ports increases, strategies are being implemented to improve port efficiency and capacity. Port-related services that can help save time and money have become increasingly important to carriers, shippers and supply chain managers. This report presents a comparative assessment of tariffs and other associated costs at ports along the West African coast, providing a series of recommendations designed to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of Nigerian ports. The report posits that a holistic approach adopting key best practice strategies is required to achieve the desired results.
